Cancer - Is it preventable?
Cancer is becoming more prevalent than ever before. Being in the alternative and holistic healing field, we have seen just about everything under the sun to eradicate it, from 'apple cider vinegar and honey' to 'radiation and chemotherapy'. The easiest way to eliminate it is not to get it in the first place. Sometimes easier said than done.
Nutrition is the key.
Cells mutate from toxins, stress, food, polluted air, poisons and toxins in the water. These cells are cancer cells. Usually it is not a problem. The immune system to the rescue. Just like an ant at the picnic, it either goes away by itself, or we help it with a little squash. This is normal. But when you stress the immune system out, don't give it the nutrients it needs, treat it like a slave and not an ally, you the immune system cannot do it's job and these mutant cells create havoc in the body. Most of the time the immune system does a remarkable job..... Until one day, it can't function any more. It takes a foothold and it grows a little bigger, and a little bigger.
It Can't Happen to Me
I thought that way too. Now I have been diagnosed with three types of skin cancer, the easiest type to get rid of and who knows what is happening inside where I can't see. When I was a kid, there were only a handful of cancers. Today there are new cancers that didn't exist years ago. Take a look at the list today and ask yourself how lucky you feel. If you don't do something now, while the risk is small, what are your chances of beating it in the future. It's sort of like a red ant pile. When you see a couple of ants (cancer cells) do something. Don't wait until the pile is stirred up and you are getting bitten all over the place. It might probably be too late, or if you survive, it won't be that much fun. Prevention is the key. Cancer is everywhere, and due to our poor diets, they grow and prosper.
This doesn't happen in a day or a week. It takes years. But then it is usually too late. OR IS IT! Your best hope is to strengthen the immune system to the point where it is able to do the job it was intended to do, kill it right where it grows.

But What if I Already Have Cancer. Can it be cured?
If you have already been diagnosed with the dreaded disease, you can try the traditional means. And along with those methods, the herb that I have found to be very promising is a mushroom called
Agaricus Blazei Murrill
Agaricus Blazei Murrill (Hime-matsutake) is a newly discovered species of mushroom that is attracting the attention of many scientists in the world now.
Agaricus Blazei Murrill is a carcinostatic food that improves the immunity function of human body.
Cancer Testimonial using Agaricus Blaxei Murrill
Through the joint research by Mie University medical school, Kobe University faculty of agriculture and Iwade Fungology Institute, it was announced at various academic meeting that Agaricus Blazei Murrill (Iwaide's 101 strains) has anticancer effect against implanted solid, ascites and cancer induced by carcinogenic chemicals on test animals and various other medical effects including inhibition of hepatopathy induced by carbon quadrichloride, decholesterolization, reduction of serum lipid, activation of the third component in complement system and interferon induction. It was also found out through recent study that it activates helper-T lymphocyte, controls immunity system, activates macrophage, activates the function of cell membrane skin system and accelerates enterokinesia against gallbladder cancer. Furthermore, it has been proven that it has antiallergy effect and accelerates cardiac movement.

Cancer is one of adult's diseases that are most difficult to cure.
In order to treat various cancers, surgical operation, radiotherapy and chemotherapy (administration of anticancer agent) are generally used today. But in any case, their side effect is causing serious damage and suffering to patients. As an alternative to these treatment methods, immunotherapy is now gaining more attention than ever. Immunotherapy substantially reduces the sufferings of side effect and inherent pain, cures cancer in its last stage and prevents recidivation by promoting the power of immunity that is originally equipped to a human body.

1. What are the origins of Agaricus Blazei Murill? The Brazil Mushroom (Agaricus Blazei Murill) was originally discovered in the mountains near Sao Paulo in Brazil. Natives for many years consumed it as part of their regular diet. In the mid 1960’s, a researcher Penn State noted that the rate of the occurrence of adult diseases in that region was extremely low, and found that it was because the Agaricus mushroom was part of their diet. A group of researchers from the USA then spent months there researching and at last confirmed that a regular diet of the type of mushroom contributes to their relative longevity. About that time, Japan also noticed that natives who regularly ate this type of mushroom seemed to possess a strong immune system. Soon, Agaricus was introduced to Japan. Scientists from the Tokyo University and the National Cancer Center jointly researched the pharmacological effects of Agaricus. The results verified that ß-Glucans in Agaricus significantly activated the immune system. Later research reports show that the ß-Glucans in Brazil Mushroom activates the immune system and have very powerful anti-mutagenic and anti-tumour effects. The highly concentrated ß-Glucans in Brazil Mushroom directly stimulate our immune system to be more alert in monitoring any cell mutation and activate the ‘Cancer killer’ cells to effectively eliminate mutant cells. 2. How do ß-Glucans in Agaricus Blazei Murill enhance our immune system? The Immune Enhancing Effects of ß-Glucans are:Increases production of cytokinesStimulates production of Interferon and other immune system enhancersIncreases phagocytosis activityActivates natural killer cellsStimulates the production of inflammatory signal proteins such as interleukin-1Activates T cells and other immune system cellsTriggers tumour necrosis factor (TNF) release. 3. How do ß-Glucans help in fighting against cancer?ß-Glucans have been studied for more than 30 years as a supplement to improve immune function. The most important property of ß-Glucans is that it is an important immune activator. It increases non-specific immunity and fosters resistance to infection. ß-Glucans can stimulate the secretion of proteins such as interleukins and interferon that deliver anti-tumour messages and activate our defence system. They enhance the activities of our ‘Cancer killers’ such as Helper T cells, Natural Killer cells and Macrophages for elimination of cancer cells. ß-Glucans trigger an immune response in the body creating a system of defence against viral, bacterial, fungal, parasitic or potentially cancerous invaders. It is also a potent anti-oxidant free radical scavenger. ß-Glucans are a group of polysaccharides. According to their different molecular structures, ß-Glucans can further be classified into different types, such as ß-1,3-Glucan, ß-1,4-Glucan, ß-1,6-Glucan, etc. Scientists have found that ß-1,3-Glucan and ß-1,6-Glucan the most effective anti-tumour constituents. ß-Glucans can stimulate the secretion of proteins such as interleukins and interferon that deliver anti-tumor messages and activate our defence system. Brazil Mushroom or scientifically known as Agaricus Blazei Murill, is known to contain very high concentration of ß-Glucans, especially ß-16-Glucans, which is not present in most other mushrooms. 4. How is Agaricus Blazei Murill different from other medicinal mushrooms? Scientists have confirmed that Brazil Mushroom’s effect is significantly better than that of any other medicinal mushroom. In the early stage of researching into Brazil Mushroom, Japanese scientists from the Pharmacological Department of Tokyo University, National Cancer Centre and Tokyo Pharmacology Institute already did a thorough test on the anti-tumour effects of different medicinal mushrooms.
