Post Shingles Pain Relief
My second bout with shingles took place 14 months ago. This time I had no rash, just the intense itchy/hurtful pain. The pain left about 50% of the affected area within 2-3 weeks. I have been having consistent pain on the right side of my torso, along the bra line. I have tried the "anti-seizure" medications, neurontin, lyrica & tireptal. The side effects were unpleasant, and I never received any relief from the drugs. I used these for 4 1/2 months. I stopped the drugs ( weaned off) about 3 weeks ago. |
